Still Learning, Still Growing

Whoa! Where did the whole month go?

Since we launched, we've started to see a little spark of interest in our Shopify store, Curve and Line - and that's something to celebrate. Honestly, I'm not much of a "techy" person, but I took the plunge anyway, and I'm learning as I go. This venture isn't just about selling clothes; it's about proving that, regardless of age, we can still start something new - something that lights us up.

Curve and Line is for women like me - women who want choices that reflect who we are now: confident, comfortable and still stylish. But beyond fashion, this journey has also become personal. It's a reminder that it's never too late to try something different, pick up new skills and dream a little bigger. We can grow, evolve and succeed without breaking the bank - or our backs!

Recently, someone asked why I didn't start a makeup business instead, especially since, in their words, "You don't look like your age." I had to smile. Truth is, I rarely wear makeup. When I do, it's very minimal and honestly, I wouldn't have the motivation to promote something I barely use. But I do know what it feels like to stand in front of the wardrobe and wonder, Does this still suit me?, Do I look like I'm trying too hard? Or worse, is this frumpy?

That's the space I wanted to fill - to offer clothes that flatter our grown-up bodies, honour our curves and keep us looking and feeling like ourselves. Elegant. Effortless. Real.

I don't know yet where this business will take me - or us - but I'm excited to find out. Thank you for being a part of the journey.
